This is how easy it is to spit into the karma pool every day.
- Report good service when you get it from customer service reps, cashiers, civil servants, tech support teams, co-workers, waitresses, etc. to their supervisors.
- Give your seat to the person who needs it more than you. That man with all those packages, the woman who just looks tired, the mom who’s kid won’t sit unless she sits next to him…
- Say thank you. Even when no one else does.
- Hold the door, within reason.
- Let that person with just one item go ahead of you in line at the supermarket, and bring your own bags when you go shopping.
- Don’t take more than you need, of anything, even if it’s free.
- When you have more than you need, of anything, share it.
- Listen when someone else is talking, instead of waiting for them to stop talking so you can start.
- Apologize for your actions, not for their reactions.
- Leave something for the next person…
